The most common material used for garden office cladding is wood, this will come with a different grade of durability. Adding cladding to your garden office will protect it from rot, insect and fungal attacks but will also protect the building from moisture. These normally have durability towards UV Light and will protect from risks which will create a longer lasting finish.
Summer houses are stylish wooden buildings which offer versatile indoor space right in the heart of your garden. Relax and enjoy the garden in a traditional building, or create a focal point with a contemporary summerhouse from our stylish, modern range. Our clever corner summerhouses are ideal for maximising garden spaces. Easily customisable to suit your needs, summer house sheds are suitable for use as a hobby room, home gym, art studio, or relaxing retreat from which to enjoy your garden.
Shiplap cladding is a traditional style which uses interlocking timber boards, each edge has a slight indent along it which produces a tight overlapping, interlocked edge which will make it extremely weather resistant. The rainwater will run off the edge, this helps with the weather and keeping water off the summerhouse.
Tongue and groove all have the same benefits as the shiplap, but this one is made with timber boards with can interlock and slot into each other to create a flat wall. On the opposite edges of the board there is a deep thin ridge which gives the cladding an extremely tight seal. It is Extremely weather resistant which grantees protection in all weather conditions, also has a lovely sleek finish.
Overlap cladding is made with a timber board nailed into the building frame, each board that overlaps are attached to the board beneath. It is made like this to allow the rain to run off it, this makes it easier for the timber to expand and contract easily with the changing of the temperature throughout the year.
